Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6

Our new two-seat concept car, the EXP 10 Speed 6, provides a tantalising glimpse of our marque’s exciting future design direction.

The brief to the design team was to create a modern driver’s car with incredible performance which expresses contemporary luxury while complementing our existing portfolio. The result exceeds this brief and is an athletic design inspired by the aerodynamic forms of aircraft fuselages and wings with modern interpretations of Bentley styling cues, including the signature matrix grille and twin headlamps.

Since being unveiled at the 2015 International Geneva Motor Show the EXP 10 Speed 6 has generated much acclaim from the world’s media, winning praise and awards for its design.

It was awarded Gold in the Transportation category of the German Design Awards – one of the world’s most highly respected design competitions, with judges naming it overall winner for its “timeless, iconic Bentley design, clever use of new materials and aesthetic dynamism”.

It also impressed a panel of judges at the world-renowned Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, landing the ‘Design Award for Concept Cars & Prototypes’ following its appearance at the Italian classic and vintage car show. And it left its mark on the United States too, with Car and Driver magazine naming the concept its ‘Most Beautiful Automobile’.

Feedback has been overwhelmingly and there are plans for the car to enter production. The price has not yet been determined but it is clear it would sit alongside the Continental GT, not beneath it.

Wolfgang Dürheimer, Chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors, said: “The customer response to the EXP 1-0 Speed was phenomenal, and we want to build on this and make it a reality.”
